Generally .008” to .375”. Call for other sizes.
Can be up to 12” in diameter in various shapes and sizes. Call for larger sizes.
Rings usually refers to coiled or bent wire of approximately 1 coil. The two ends or tips can have a gap or opening between them. The ends can also be butted (touching) to facilitate welding. Rings may also have a slight overlap of the ends and can be formed from spring wire, low-carbon steel, brass, bronze, stainless steel and various other materials such as Ni-span and Hastalloy. Rings can be used as fixtures. They are also widely used as retainers or snap rings being slightly compressed or expanded and locked in a groove to control movement in mechanical assemblies.
